Atlanta, GA, September 25, 2019 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library efficiency solutions, announced today the release of version 2.0 of EnvisionWare Branch Manager. This communications software is designed for libraries to manage and monitor communications and alerts.
Branch Manager Version 2.0 combines enterprise functionality with enhanced communication tools at the branch level and system wide. With this new release, users have the ability to filter and target messages to Subscribers and Groups so that Library staff can receive only the alerts that pertain to their department or branch. This includes instant alerts from RFID gates as well as alerts from EnvisionWare OneStop self-service circulation stations.
Version 2.0 also includes an expanded gate alert option for checked out status. This alert enables staff to see whether an item causing an alert is checked out in the ILS. New, graphical alert icons make it fast and easy for staff to determine when they need to investigate a problem and when they can bypass the alert.
"This new release makes it even faster and easier for staff to identify and assist patrons who need help with self-service," said EnvisionWare Co-Founder and CEO Mike Monk. "We've also added enterprise functionality that enables administrators to manage the entire system from a browser window, saving both time and money."
In addition to centralized administration, version 2.0 allows for centralized alert and people count reporting. Branch Manager is compatible with EnvisionWare and Feig Standard and Wide Aisle gate systems.
