Nashville, TN -- June 3, 2019. Ingram Content Group("Ingram") announced Steve Marshall as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). As CIO, Marshall will oversee all IT operations as well as lead Ingram's overall strategies as a technology services company.
Prior to becoming CIO, Marshall served as Vice President of IT Services for Ingram. In that capacity, he led technology improvement efforts around standardization, simplification and systems stability.
"Over the last year, Steve has helped us improve a range of technology processes central to our business," said Ingram President & CEO Shawn Morin. "His IT knowledge and expertise coupled with his project management experience will serve Ingram well as we continue to help the publishing industry better leverage technology to drive book sales."
Aside from Ingram, Marshall has held numerous IT roles across industries such as wholesale/distribution, retail and financial services. In addition, Marshall brings more than 25 years of experience in infrastructure and project management roles. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Infrastructure at C&S Wholesale Grocers in Keene, New Hampshire, where he was responsible for infrastructure, operations and security.
