Natick, Massachusetts — IMLS National Medal winner Reading (PA) Public Library has chosen Capira Technologies to develop a custom mobile library app for its patrons which has recently launched. Features include account management tools in the form of account status notifications, multiple (family) digital library cards, robust catalog search tools, connections to event calendars, e-materials, digital resources and social media. Like all Capira deployments the completely custom design was driven by the library to reflect their presence in the community. Reading Public Library will now also be able to reach out to their patron base through push notifications to inform them of events, programs, classes and schedule/location changes.
