University of North Texas - Dallas goes live on Koha with ByWater Solutions

ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America's forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that University of North Texas - Dallas Academic and Law Library is now live on Koha! ByWater completed the transition of the library's 186,000 plus holdings from Sierra ILS and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library's customized Koha OPAC can be viewed at: https://untdallas.bywatersolutions.com.

About the Academic Library

Beyond a traditional library, the UNT Dallas students have access to an extensive collection of electronic resources with over 31,000 electronic journals and databases, over 46,700 electronic books, and the ability to order books and journal articles from libraries across the United States through our interlibrary loan program.

The library has a beautiful, comfortable reading room for studying and two group study rooms for collaborating. The study rooms are state of the art with large monitors and tables with power and data connections. Wi-Fi is available throughout the library.

About the Law Library

The College of Law's Law Library is primarily for the use of College of Law students, faculty, and staff. Students, faculty, and staff from other UNT System institutions and members of the Bar are allowed access to the Law Library. To receive access to the Law Library, please provide proof of identity, as well as proof of connection to the UNT System or Bar, at the Security Desk on the first floor upon entering the building. Visitors will be provided directions or an escort and a visitor's name badge as appropriate.
