About the Seymour (MO) Community Library
The Seymour Library (http://www.seymourmissouri.org/web/library.htm) was established in 1929. In 1998, a new, completely donor-funded building opened, expanding the space for resources and programming. The library offers not only books, but audio books, video, large print material, magazines, reference and a children's section with a wide variety of materials. Many events are sponsored by the library; including children's story time featuring a local community member reading to the children, poetry readings, holiday themed functions such as an Easter egg hunt, computer tutorials, workshops and various special events.
