"For almost 20 years we have made it easier and more fun to borrow, read and listen to books in Sweden. It is with great pleasure that we are now looking forward to doing the same with the libraries in Finland! Axiell Media develops technical solutions for the libraries with a focus on smart library tools and with our newly developed native app Biblio we provide reading and listening delight to the library's patrons. Our solutions today help libraries increase their availability, reach and engagement with the patrons." says Eva Houltzén, Managing Director of Axiell Media.
In the evaluation of the tenders, the Finnish procurement authority made their selection based on the summary of the points for platform, price and content. With this new business in Finland, we open up new opportunities for our more than 700 affiliated publishers as well as for Finnish publishers who are now continuously joining us. Together with our customers we handle the digital transformation so that they constantly keep up with the readers' needs and changed habits. This means that the libraries can continue and speed up their digital transformation through the new opportunities for reaching patrons that are created and that reading and listening to digital literature is now more readily available in Finland," says Eva Houltzén.
