Dublin, OH - November 8, 2018 - Patron Point is announcing today that the WInnetka-Northfield Public LIbrary District (IL) has selected Patron Point as its patron relationship management system. "We aspire to be a recognized leader and collaborative partner in our communities," states Rebecca Wolf, Director of the Winnetka-Northfield PLD. "And we're always looking for ways to communicate all of the exciting happenings in our District."
The Library's initial implementation includes a multi-sequence program that formally welcomes its newest patrons. "This program gives us the ability to communicate in a patron-friendly manner all the unique ways that our library card can be used, " continues Wolf. Another short term project the Library envisions includes establishing a system of automatic notifications to patrons whose cards are close to expiration, providing them with a sufficient notification period to ensure continuous service.
"It is exciting to hear WInnetka's plans and feel the energy they bring to this new collaboration" states Patron Point's Gene Shimshock. Wolf agrees, "We are thrilled to be working with Patron Point and have great hopes for this new partnership."
