London Metropolitan University join the Talis Aspire community

London Metropolitan University have selected Talis Aspire to manage their online reading lists and copyright management. This is part of a wider library project, as they update their LMS and discovery platform from Innovative Millennium to Innovative Sierra, which will be integrated with Talis Aspire. The Talis Services and Consulting teams will be working closely with teams at LMU to get Talis Aspire set up for the start of the new academic year 2018/19.

The benefits realised will enable our students to find and access quality resources much more easily, and at the same time will improve processes for staff updating reading lists and purchasing the required resources."

London Metropolitan University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Their graduates are highly skilled and highly employable; 95% of London Met students are in work or further study within six months of graduation according to the most recent Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey.

The University's main campus is in Holloway, North London, where the schools of Sciences and Computing and Social Sciences and Humanities are located. The Business & Law School is currently in Moorgate and the Sir John Cass School of Art, Media and Design in Aldgate.

Talis help universities in eight countries, including over 65% of all UK universities, to manage and deliver learning resources online. Talis services integrate with all major ILS and LMS solutions together with a range of authentication services, Reproduction Rights Organisations (RRO), bookstores and content providers. The cloud-based SaaS system hosts over 500,000 reading lists, with over 20 million references, serving in excess of 176 million views of reading lists by students each year.
