DENVER (June 21, 2018) – The Library Corporation is pleased to announce the hire of Monique Sendze as Director of Technology Strategy. Sendze joins the TLC and CARL.X team with formidable library and technology experience, operating in the industry for nearly 20 years.
While working previously as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology & Innovation Officer for the Tulsa City County Library in Oklahoma, Sendze led a diverse staff in modernizing the technology needs of a circa 1960's Central Library. Sendze's expertise renovated the technology infrastructure with a new data center, a new network, enhanced cyber-security, advanced telecommunications, 3-D modeling labs and makerspaces, and a variety of other state-of-the-art developments.
As TLC continues to expand and develop products that exceed its competitors and sets new standards in the industry, it continues to bring in talent ready to meet the challenges over the next horizon. Sendze is a certified Scrum master, Product Owner, Six Sigma Green Belt for Process Improvement, and ITIL V3 Foundations practitioner for IT Service Management. Her prowess as a technology leader was recognized with an InfoTech Research Group CIO Award in 2016.
Sendze will work primarily out of the Denver office for TLC, focusing on strategic technology priorities in Tech Services and Development. She will upgrade the already excellent staff, reviewing project plans for new customer implementations, as well as augmenting migrations from On-Premise to hosted ILS solutions. Her added expertise will enhance development and product coordination strategies for customer upgrades.
"Monique has a dynamic and deep background in technology strategy, making her a perfect fit for her new role with TLC," says CEO Annette Harwood Murphy. "TLC is always pleased to add prodigious talent to our management and development teams, and we look forward to Monique helping ensure that TLC remains the standard bearer in our industry."
