Concord, MA -- June 18, 2018. Assabet Interactive announced that the Rockport Public Library and the Billerica Public Library are the latest to subscribe to the company's full portfolio of online software for public library websites. The libraries are part of a group of almost twenty libraries in New England now using the company's online modules, which include an event calendar with a robust registration system, a room booking system that works closely with the calendar, and a museum pass reservation system. Unlike other systems, the recently developed software is integrated directly into a library's website pages, so that the main navigation is always present for patrons.
"We've been getting a enthusiastic response to our new way of doing things—not just from potential users during demos, but also from the libraries that are already using our modules," says Robert Levers, a founding partner. "Our customers tell us that it's because we're responsive to their needs, both with our quick support and with our continuing release of enhancements based on what we hear that librarians think is important."
Levers says that libraries interested in a free, webinar demo of their software can initiate the process on their website at www.assabetinteractive.com.
About the Rockport Public Library and Billerica Public Library
The libraries, both located in Massachusetts, are both members of the Merrimac Valley Library Consortium (MVLC), which represents a group of libraries just north of Boston. MVLC's group purchase of the software enabled each to receive a continuing discount on the annual subscription price.
