Ingenta has announced a collaboration to support integration of Remarq, the collaboration platform from RedLink, for its publishers. This collaboration enables Ingenta CMS platform customers to offer group discussions, annotation, editorial tools, and copyright-compliant sharing on the Version of Record, driving community engagement.
"We are delighted to be working with RedLink to offer Ingenta publishing platform publishers the Remarq service," commented Rowland Conway, Director, Content Products at Ingenta. "Remarq provides the scholarly community with a powerful tool that facilitates collaboration, adds impetus to the discussion around high value content and empowers authors, editors and researchers to bring the content to life. The combination of Ingenta's flexible and use- friendly publishing platforms and RedLink's innovative Remarq service bring real benefit to the publishing and research communities."
Remarq recognizes user roles including editors, authors, and readers. Editors and authors have the ability to provide relevant updates to articles as well as to interact with readers. Readers can follow authors and articles, as well as share articles of interest with confidence. Further, Remarq offers authors and editors valuable analytics, to better understand the needs of their community.
"We're excited about this new partnership for Remarq, so we can support Ingenta's users, editors, and authors," said Kent Anderson, RedLink's CEO. "Ingenta's portfolio of titles is an important source of knowledge for people worldwide and adding collaboration tools will help make this content even more useful and engaging."
RedLink helps libraries, publishers, and users see what they've been missing. RedLink's products include powerful, intuitive dashboards for libraries and publishers (Library Dashboard, Consortia Dashboard, and Publisher Dashboard), unique sales prospecting engines for publishers (SiteLeads), and editorial engagement tools for editors, authors, and readers (Remarq). RedLink also offers RedLink Network, a free service libraries and publishers can use to collaborate on synchronizing access credentials and service needs.
