Nicole Johnson, Senior Solutions Specialist, Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada
Johnson brings over twenty years of customer service and sales experience with her to her new role, including expertise in business development, advertising, marketing, and public library sales. Johnson prides herself on her ability to build strong relationships, and develop the most effective solutions for her clients.
Johnson developed a passion for public libraries and their patrons during her time as a publishing account executive at Gale, a company that provides source materials for libraries, and is excited to extend that passion to libraries while at Tech Logic. "I was referred to Tech Logic by a dear friend and librarian. After learning about Tech Logic's dedication to public libraries, and meeting Gary Kirk, Tech Logic's President, I knew this was a company I wanted to be a part of. I'm honored to be a part of the Tech Logic team, and to have the opportunity to assist public libraries with their evolving needs," Johnson said.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Certificate of Dental Hygiene from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science.
David Degrandchamp, Senior Solutions Specialist, North Central U.S. and Central Canada
Degrandchamp has ten years of experience serving public libraries. His early career led him to be an integral part of starting and growing Mango Languages first in sales and marketing and later launching Mango's client care department - which is well respected among its library partners. After almost two years serving as strategic sales director role service for Better World Books, and a brief stint in publishing, Degrandchamp is proud to be serving libraries at Tech Logic. "I was initially attracted to Tech Logic after interactions with staff at library conferences. Having a background in and passion for public libraries, it was important to me that Tech Logic is 100% focused on public libraries. Being a huge library advocate, I'm looking forward to my role as a Senior Solutions Specialist," Degrandchamp said.
Degrandchamp volunteers at the Orion Township Public Library's brand new bookmobile, and is an active member of their "Friends of the Library" group. In his downtime, you can find him jogging or biking the paths around his house in Lake Orion, MI, or attempting to teach his dog to be bilingual.
