Haslet Public Library migrates to Evergreen

DULUTH, Ga., May 16, 2017 -- Equinox is pleased to announce that they have successfully migrated the Haslet Public Library to Evergreen within the North Texas Library Consortium.

Haslet joins the North Richland Hills Public Library, Roanoke Public Library, and eleven other libraries on a shared Evergreen system. Equinox performed the migration services, including bibliographic data extraction, policy configuration, and project management. The addition of Haslet brings nearly 20,000 more bibliographic records into the consortium, allowing patrons at all libraries to benefit from expanded choices. Barbara Thompson, Director of Haslet Public Library, was quoted as saying, "Haslet is excited to offer the opportunities that being in the North Texas Library Consortium presents.

The migration has been a smooth process with great support from Equinox and the consortium."

Equinox Project Manager, Erica Rohlfs, had this to say about the project, "It was exciting to be a part of Haslet's migration and to witness NTLC's continued growth. The Haslet staff, along with Geoff Sams [Library Manager, Roanoke Public Library], worked hard to make this a successful migration."
