Alicia Sell states:
"Preservation reformatting is very exciting right now because it allows collections to be accessible to researchers in ways that were not possible 20 years ago.
"The future of digitization is not just in having digital images, but in creating access points that connect multiple resources together, which in turn can open up global research opportunities. Our preservation services department will build on a strong tradition of quality and focus on testing new equipment technologies, work efficiencies and data enrichment opportunities. We look forward to helping libraries as they move into digital linked data environments."
John Merrill, President of Backstage states:
"With the continued rapid growth of our digitization services, we are excited to be able to add more expertise and product management at the top of the organization. We are fortunate to have someone of Alicia's caliber take on the expanded product management role and are confident that she will be an enthusiastic leader of our developing digital services."
