ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and the U.S.' forefront provider of Koha support, is happy to welcome the Paola Free Library to the Northeast Kansas Library System (NEKLS).
The Paola Free Library joined the NExpress Shared Regional Catalog, adding of over 30,000 items to the union catalog. The library is the 52nd library site to join NExpress, which contains over one million items and services over 160,000 patrons in northeast Kansas. Prior to migrating to Koha, Paola Free Library was utilizing the Atriuum ILS.
About the NExpress Shared Catalog
The NExpress automation service enables libraries of all types and sizes to provide rapid and direct access to shared library resources through a technically advanced library automation system at a reduced cost, with training, technical support and software enhancements provided by NEKLS. The NExpress service is an web-based automation service that features flexible searching, item availability status, and the ability for library users to directly place requests for items in the collection of any participating library, with delivery by courier to the patron's local library.
