TLCís family of libraries continues to grow

INWOOD, W.Va. (April 20, 2016) - Three more prestigious libraries recently joined thousands of other library locations worldwide that use The Library Corporation's Library.Solution integrated library system.

Marion County Public Library in Fairmont, W.Va., serves its community with three locations and a bookmobile. It's mission is to use all methods of communication and technology to meet the educational, cultural, informational, and recreational needs of both children and adults. In addition to implementing Library.Solution, Marion County Public Library is elevating its catalog with TLC's RDAExpress, a service that converts standard MARC records to the new, more robust RDA cataloging standard.

Treffert Library in Fond du Lac, Wis., is a small medical library that serves the Agnesian HealthCare system. It's a brand new facility created to house the life works of Dr. Darold Treffert, a psychiatrist who has been studying autism and savant syndrome for more than 50 years. The library also offers a unique worldwide collection of research materials on autism, savant syndrome, and hyperlexia and related conditions, plus a center to continue ongoing research projects. Treffert Library selected Library.Solution as its first ILS due to the system's flexibility in meeting the needs of libraries of any size.

North Miami Beach Public Library in sunny Miami, Fla., has serve its bilingual and multicultural community since 1959, when it opened in a small storefront as a branch of the city of Miami's library system. North Miami Beach Public Library went independent in 1961 with a staff of two and an annual budget of $25,000. Since then, the library has grown significantly in order to serve the region's expanding population. In addition to Library.Solution, North Miami Beach Public Library also ordered TLC's e-book integration service, allowing integration and display of its digital titles directly into the library's online catalog of printed materials.
