August 28, 2015 Emeryville, CA. Innovative announced today that Burlington County Library System (BCLS) in New Jersey has selected the Polaris ILS and Polaris Leap, a browser-based tool that offers key public services workflows in the stacks or outside the library. BCLS holds over 750,000 volumes and conducts over 2 million circulation transactions each year. The Library is migrating from a Horizon system provided by SirsiDynix.
"Libraries choose Innovative because our solutions provide an outstanding user experience across devices and content types," says SVP of Global Sales Bill Schickling. "We are in a unique position to provide a comprehensive solution that covers staff operations and patron access. Polaris Leap will empower BCLS to provide better experiences for patrons within library walls or at community events. The first release of Leap and Polaris ILS 5.0 late last year reflect our continuing commitment to Polaris solutions."
