  • If/when/how will patterns of library investments — particularly those of public libraries — be impacted by e-reading, demand-driven acquisitions, and other ILS-related systems and services yet to emerge — like Customer Relations Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)?
  • When will Library User Experiences be as simple, quick, and fulfilling as Amazon and Google?
  • When will the marketplace offer libraries what's needed to improve and measure their ROI on content and people and the enabling technologies?

RMG's Annual Presidents' Seminars (The View from the Top) at ALA Midwinter Conferences invite global ILS company and other library industry executives to focus on initiatives and trends that impact libraries. Rob McGee develops the topics and themes, and leads these seminars. The seminar is open to all – librarians and vendors – to encourage dialogue on topical issues and concerns.
