Jerusalem, Israel—October 20, 2014. Ex Libris Group, a leading provider of library automation solutions, is pleased to announce that all journals and the majority of reference databases hosted on GBI-Genios' wiso-net platform have been indexed in the Ex Libris Primo Central Index of scholarly electronic resources, making the content easily discoverable via the Ex Libris Primo discovery service. In the coming months, the e-books hosted on wiso-net will also be accessible via Primo. The wiso-net platform includes specialized information in economics; social sciences; technical studies; psychology; and law, and is used in more than 85% of economic and social science universities in German-speaking countries.
Ralf Hennemann, director of marketing and sales at GBI-Genios, commented: "Enabling our academic and reference content to be searchable in the Primo Central Index is an important way of boosting the discoverability of our content. We are pleased to partner with Ex Libris in enabling students and library users in Europe to find and access the diverse content that we aggregate from hundreds of primary publishers."
"I am very pleased that this major European aggregator has decided to contribute its content to the Primo Central Index," remarked Michal (Michelle) Gindi, director of publisher relations at Ex Libris.
