Swedish Institute in Rome chooses BibLibre's Koha support

The Swedish Institute of Rome chose the Open Source Source ILS Koha and the help of BibLibre for its library. The Swedish Institute in Rome is a research institute, subordinate to the Swedish Ministry of Education. BibLibre will handle the migration, the staff training and will provide ongoing Koha support and hosting services.

Astrid Capoferro, librarian at the Swedish Institute of Rome spoke of the move to Koha:

"The library of the Swedish Institute of Classical Studies in Rome will move to Koha from Millennium with support from BibLibre. We decided to switch to an open source ILS because we like the open source philosophy and think that features like reliance on open standards, rapid and collaborative development, low cost, local control and flexible support options are very important. BibLibre will complete the migration process during Spring 2014 and will be providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services for the Swedish Institute. We look forward to work within an open source community with the support of BibLibre."
