OCLC PICA is very pleased to announce that with effect from April 1st 2003, the legal integration process has been completed and OCLC Europe, Middle East and Africa has now become OCLC PICA bv. The final contract was signed March, 25th by Cees Datema, Chairman of "Stichting Pica" and Jay Jordan, CEO of OCLC Inc. (see photo above). OCLC PICA's managing director, Rein van Charldorp travelled to Birmingham to give a warm welcome to the new colleagues followed by a small celebration.

After the Leiden staff was informed the next day, Rein van Charldorp said during drinks:"This is a significant moment for us all and I would like to express my thanks to everyone for their patience while this process was being completed. I look forward to us all continuing to work together and to developing OCLC PICA throughout Europe."
