Atlanta, GA, February 5, 2013 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library-efficiency solutions, announced today that Winter Park Public Library in Winter Park, Florida has selected EnvisionWare for RFID.
An early adopter of RFID technology, Winter Park will migrate from a legacy CheckPoint Systems platform. The migration includes EnvisionWare RFID Software Suite, OneStop self-service circulation system, and eCommerce.
"This project was made possible through a generous grant from the City of Winter Park and from donations from members of our community," said Craig Stillings, Assistant Director at Winter Park. "We're extremely fortunate to have such strong support from our city's leadership and our private donors, particularly in this challenging economy. We are excited about the new capabilities EnvisionWare's self-service terminals will give to our staff and patrons."
Winter Park has a collection of approximately 185,000 volumes and has an annual circulation of over 600,000 using a SirsiDynix Integrated Library System. As part of the review process, library staff evaluated all of the major RFID systems on the market today. The library cites EnvisionWare's self-check stations, easy-to-install technology and excellent value as the basis for their selection.
"During this process, I've consistently been impressed by dedication and enthusiasm of the Winter Park team," said EnvisionWare Sales Consultant Ken Evans. "The staff is truly committed to finding new ways to improve patron satisfaction and expand the services they offer to their community."
