White Bear Lake, MN (November 28, 2012) - Tech Logic announces multiple contract wins to install several automated systems with the Meridian Library District in Meridian, ID, solidifying preferred vendor status.
In October, engineering consultant Mike Heitzman delivered a contract to install an UltraSort, Tech Logic's premium Automated Materials Handling System. The 9-bin sorter will have both internal and external drops, and is being designed to run along an exterior wall to conserve space for a weekly children's reading program. In November, Tech Logic begins converting Meridian's Silverstone branch library's previous RFID self-check system to CircIt, Tech Logic's dedicated server-based system for customizable Self Check-Out software.
The Meridian Library District, located in a suburb of Boise, Idaho, circulates over a million items each year. Meridian became a Tech Logic SCO (Self Check-Out) customer in early 2012 when the library migrated to Tech Logic's RFID and CircIt systems, with both going live in the main facility in February 2012.
Mike Heitzman joined Tech Logic in 2010 as a Sales Consultant with an extensive sales background in the publishing industry as well as in global sales and marketing management. He consults with libraries in the western region of the U.S., including Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Mike's territories also include Canada's provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
Eileen Keehan, Tech Logics VP of Global Business Development says; "This is an outstanding opportunity for our company and we are proud to now call Meridian a part of our Family".
Tech Logic will showcase new products as an exhibitor at the upcoming ALA Midwinter Meeting in Seattle, Washington, January 25-29, 2013.
