Kuali Coeus proposal development goes live at University of California, Irvine

Beginning on Monday August 6, 2012, the University of California, Irvine (UCI) has "gone live" and is now operating in the production environment of Kuali Coeus. This is the first of two phases of Proposal Development implementation at UCI, that includes the Proposal Data and Institutional Proposal, replacing UCI's paper-based proposal routing. Use case testing and training was conducted with Sponsored Projects staff and seven largeóyet fundamentally differentópilot departments before rolling the system out into production. UCI will continue implementing the first phase of Proposal Development for the remaining campus departments in the Fall. UCI expects to implement Phase II of Proposal Development (Proposal Data, Proposal Budget, Grants.gov Submissions, Proposal Log, Institute Proposal, and Negotiations) in 2013.
