Blue Metropolis's mission is to bring people from different cultures and languages together in order to share the joy of reading and writing while allowing the emergence of creativity and intercultural understanding. This mandate is directly related to Mondo-In's objectives to allow a universal diffusion of knowledge.
Responsible for the creation and the hosting of the new Web site, Mondo-In gave Blue Metropolis the tools to make a necessary digital turn so vital to the pursuit of its social and educational mission.
Online since January 2012, the site administered by the "Mondo-In Media" multimedia platform allows the Foundation to manage, to organize and to share all of its digital content with its users.
Similar functionalities will eventually be available for the Foundation partners.
Finally, Mondo-In has the exclusive rights on the production and the distribution of all books (educational programs, writing workshops ...) produced by Blue Metropolis.
Mrs. William Saint-Hilaire, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Blue Metropolis Foundation notes that the increased use of new technologies is an important asset for the access and the dissemination of content related to the Foundation and its Festival:
«The literary world is changing and its future is undoubtedly in content development and digital media.
Thanks to our sponsors, this 14th edition of the Festival was a great success: 20,000 visitors from 60 locations, more than 150 events in five different languages as well as extensive media coverage has enabled us to reach 1 million listeners!
We can now rely on our Internet presence to ensure the continuity of the Festival throughout the year and allow a permanent access to our publications.»
Since 1986, Mondo-In is specialized in public and universities libraries software edition, digital publishing, WebMagazine and Mobile-learning.
Our 5 Million users located in more than 1400 sites around the world have chosen Mondo-In, for our innovative and customized solutions as well as for the close relationship we maintain with our customers and business partners.
