October 11, 2011 -- Emeryville, CA. Nappanee Public Library (IL) has selected Encore, Millennium with integrated Program Registration, and AirPAC for Smartphones to provide first-rate service to its community. They will be migrating from an EOS library system provided by EOS International.

The Library's staff coordinates over 500 programs a year, on everything from Children's activities to high-end DSLR photography. "Having program registration and management tools in our system will make managing what we do easier and provide access through Encore," says Lissa Krull, Library Director. "For example, we have a program on the book Curious George. A user searching for that book will find that we are also hosting a program on the subject."

Krull continues: "Encore is going to be attractive to our community of remote users. In one search we will make visible our books, e-book collection, as well as databases provided by INSPIRE, a state shared-database portal. As part of our launch, we're going to take Encore to the community by bringing our laptops to a number of organizations around our city."
