Sixteen libraries move to Encore Synergy in month of October

November 10, 2010 -- Emeryville, CA. Innovative Interfaces announced that its Encore Services team moved sixteen libraries from Encore Discovery to Encore Synergy in the month of October 2010. These libraries now provide deep article integration that brings real-time, full-text articles into Encore Synergy's single-search discovery environment. With Encore Synergy, users discover live, full-text articles and abstract previews in every results set, along with library materials such as books/ebooks, digital collections, programs, and more.

The new Encore Synergy libraries are Andrews University (MI); Complutense University (Spain); Deerfield Public Library (IL); Loma Linda University (CA); Marquette University (WI); Naperville Public Library (IL); Pace University (NY); Rapid City Public Library (SD); South Plainfield Public Library (NJ); St. Lawrence University (NY); Tuscaloosa Public Library (AL); Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy); University of Nebraska, Kearney; University of Southern Mississippi; Warren-Newport Public Library District (IL); and Weill Cornell Medical College (Qatar).

"We are excited that libraries of all types are embracing Encore Synergy as a discovery tool for everything they want to provide, including full-text articles streamed directly from the content providers," says John McCullough, Vice President, Encore Division. "Libraries and users have been waiting for all of their discovery needs to be met in one place; now, with Encore Synergy, they see everything that's available coming together seamlessly."

This group of sixteen are among the 50 libraries that have moved to Encore Synergy since the software was released in August of this year.
