Relais International is pleased to announce that Grinnell College (Grinnell, Iowa) has selected the Relais ILL Hosted Service.
The Hosted Service will include the Relais Access web-based pages that allow library users to create and monitor their own ILL requests. Staff can use a new and enhanced web-based staff interface and the Relais windows staff client to process ILL requests. The system includes the fully integrated Relais Scanning Module on two workstations for seamless electronic delivery of items to patrons and to other libraries. The library uses Innovative Interfaces Millennium integrated library system.

We look forward to working with them to enhance our workflows and interoperability with OCLC resource sharing products". The implementation is expected to be completed by December 2010.
As part of the contract, Relais has committed to creating additional interoperability with OCLC such as the ability to search the WorldCat database to find lending locations, and the ability to use custom holdings groups and paths when creating a lender string. These enhancements will be ready by the fourth quarter of 2011.
