The Pennsylvania Libraries Group Selects Millennium

July 27, 2010 -- Emeryville, CA. The Pennsylvania Libraries Group, a new nine-library consortium, has recently selected the Millennium ILS. The multi-type consortium, which includes academic, public, and special libraries, quickly transitioned to the shared system to effectively manage their library resources and provide access to their users with WebPAC Pro.

"The libraries have been very happy with the way Innovative has worked with us," says John Thompson, Systems Librarian at Waynesburg University. "We were pleased with how quickly we moved from selection to going live with the Millennium Cataloging module. The Innovative staff has been very helpful, and we are delighted to be able to take advantage of the Millennium ILS in a way that none of us could have done on our own."

Handling a variety of technical needs with the Millennium Application Coordinator Service, the consortium saves staff time and resources by having Innovative administer system upgrades, provide ongoing support, and handle other IT services to facilitate the shared system. The service ensures that the Millennium system continues to operate at an optimal level.
