May 20, 2010 -- Emeryville, CA—Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, (UK) has selected the Millennium ILS and the integrated Electronic Resource Management (ERM) products to provide seamless access to print and electronic resources for staff and students. The Library is migrating from a Unicorn ILS system. The procurement team at Queen Margaret University selected Millennium to enhance business processes and bring greater efficiencies throughout the Library's Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
"Integration with existing technologies, both institutional and external, was a vital feature when looking for a new integrated library system," says Jo Rowley, Head of Library Services. "Students need to be able to access resources with minimal fuss, no matter what technology they are using. The LRC is committed to providing a service which is easy for all students and staff at the institution to use."
Rowley continues: "We have found Innovative to be a proactive company, happy to talk, and more importantly to listen to a customer's needs."
The University's purchase adds to a growing group of UK libraries that have selected Innovative products, such as University of Glasgow, University of Stirling, University of Bradford, University of Essex, and University of Hull.
