PROVO, UT, March 3, 2009 – SirsiDynix, the world leader in library automation technology, is excited to announce a new partnership with Bell Canada for state-of-the-art colocation services in Montreal, Canada. Previously, Canadian SirsiDynix SaaS customers were supported in a SirsiDynix facility in Montreal; however, increased demand has necessitated a larger facility with more power, cooling and redundancies.
The new partnership between SirsiDynix and Bell Canada will provide current and future Canadian customers with added power and confidence knowing SirsiDynix continues their commitment to SaaS operations. In addition to the greater power, cooling, and internet redundancies at the newly designated colocated facility, Bell Canada also holds SAS70 certifications and 24-hour on-site security.
Matthew Hawkins, Chief Operating Officer at SirsiDynix stated, "With over 900 SaaS customers around the world, and many more interested in SaaS opportunities, we felt it was time to increase our facility power and Bell Canada was the right solution for customers’ needs in Canada. We are excited to offer our Canadian libraries high-quality SaaS service and maintenance through this new facility and to continue our commitment to SaaS solutions for Canadian customers."
SirsiDynix also maintains facilities for customer use in Salt Lake City, Utah; Atlanta, Georgia; Melbourne, Australia and Greenock, Scotland. For more information about solutions for Canadian libraries, please email sales@sirsidynix.com or call 1-800-884-9330.
