13th January 2006. Geac is proud to announce that the OBT (Public Library of Tilburg); in Midden-Brabant,Netherlands has chosen to use the Vubis Smart library automation system. They have been operational since Monday 28 November 2005. By using Vubis Smart their library management processes will become more efficient and stream-lined. The OBT is the largest cultural organization in the area and serves as a multi-media centre for knowledge and culture for around 286,000 inhabitants, and also performs the role of WSF-library within the region. WSF libraries provide the public with access to scientific information.
