Syracuse, NY, April 29, 2008 - Polaris Library Systems, a leading provider of library automation technology, has added key members to its research and development and customer service teams.
Vanaja Ramarao has been appointed as a software developer. In this role, Vanaja will work closely with Polaris product analysts and other members of the research and development team on the Polaris Technical Services client and ancillary processes. Prior to joining Polaris, Vanaja held various positions as a software engineer, including senior software engineer at NaviSite, Inc. and software engineer at MNIS-Textwise Labs. Vanaja holds an MS from Clarkson University.
Jennifer Capshaw has been appointed as a Polaris site manager. In this role, Jennifer serves as a primary contact for Polaris customers and is the liaison between technical support and customer sites. Prior to joining Polaris, Jennifer held positions at Syracuse University and in customer support at Agway Energy Products. Jennifer has an MSLIS degree from Syracuse University.
