February 8, 2008 -- Emeryville, CA. Warner Pacific College and Concordia University will migrate from a Voyager system to a shared Millennium implementation for a partnership of 150,000 shared items. Both institutions are Christian liberal arts schools in Portland, Oregon.
"When looking at systems, our staff decided that Millennium is a superior product with a stable company behind it," says Sue Kopp, Library Director at Warner Pacific College. "I truly appreciate how Innovative has put everything you need in the software so you don't need to do programming and work at the OS level. Innovative's system will empower our staff by keeping us current with technology and will help us provide good service to our campus."
Says Brent Mai, Library Director at Concordia University: "Millennium is in wide use in the Pacific Northwest. This gives us a lot of confidence moving forward with this new partnership. Having a large user group will help us with implementation and shorten the learning curve. We're also excited about how Millennium will pave the way for future resource-sharing opportunities in the region."
