January 8, 2008 -- Emeryville, CA. Innovative Interfaces announces the promotion of Ted Fons from Senior Product Manager to the position of Director, Customer Services.

Fons has served Innovative for a over decade and has been involved since 1997 in product management, where he managed eProducts such as WebBridge LR, and Millennium's acquisitions and serials modules. In that time, Fons was instrumental in the launch and continuous development of the market-first Innovative ERM as well as actively involved with standards development.

He is uniquely suited for his new role as it returns him to Innovative's Library Service team, where he started his career as a Systems Librarian. "Ted brings to Customer Services a strong knowledge of Innovative technologies and how they are used by libraries," says Sandy Westall, Senior Vice President for Library Service. "He will focus our customer support on providing the best services for each library. Ted has established many relationships with customers during new development cycles, IUG meetings, and committee work. He now brings this wealth of knowledge and relationships to Customer Services and we welcome him to his new role at Innovative."
