Relais International is pleased to announce that the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) has selected Relais ILL as their ILL management system. CADTH is based in Ottawa with offices in cities across Canada. The Relais ILL system will be hosted by Relais International in our offices in Ottawa, Canada. A new feature being added to Relais ILL is the ability to import multiple records from Reference Manager (from the Thomson Corporation) and create requests in Relais ILL that can be sent automatically to a supplier without staff intervention.
The Relais ILL system includes the Relais Access web-based pages that allow library patrons to create and monitor their own ILL requests. The system also includes the Relais Scanning Module. The Scanning Module is fully integrated with Relais ILL for seamless electronic delivery of items to patrons and other libraries. Library staff can convert paper documents to electronic format by scanning, or they can use existing electronic documents anywhere on their network for desktop delivery to their patrons. Delivery can be done via FTP to Ariel, Post to Web, Email attachment, or fax.
Clare MacKeigan, COO of Relais International, is pleased to welcome staff and researchers of CADTH as a customer in our growing network of customers in North America.
