December 15, 2000 TDNet, the leading supplier of electronic journals management solutions, today announced the release of the TDNet Statistics Report Generator.
The statistics counter will be hosted on customers' local servers, and will monitor ejournal usage throughout the organization. This is a big step forward for decision making procedures in terms of ejournal usage, as it is the only independent statistical tool available, which monitors usage across the complete ejournal list. This is the first time organizations receive a real objective decision-making tool to aid in deciding what titles, vendors and services best serve the organizational information needs.
The Statistics Report Generator provides data, not only on the TDNet system usage, but also on:
- Journal titles used
- Publishers
- Vendors
- Users
- Peaks
Being hosted on local servers, the Statistical Reports will be internal and confidential.
TDNet customers are requested to apply for administrator passwords, in order to be able to generate the statistical reports.
