Softlink expands professional library

Maida Rubin is the newest librarian addition to the growing Softlink staff. Maida joins Softlink as one of our Senior Application Specialists.

Maida Rubin has over twenty years of experience in working with library automation and applications primarily with special libraries delivering training, project management, consulting and data conversion services. Prior to her work at Softlink, she was Manager of Implementation Services at Ex Libris where she managed seven implementation librarians providing installation, training and project management for a suite of products managing electronic content / delivery.

Ms. Rubin began her career as head of Technical Services in public libraries and then became an installation consultant for CLSI, Inc., the pioneer and market leader in integrated for library automation. She then joined IME Systems, Inc., which became part of EOS International providing a broad range of training, consulting, product design and development, data conversion and project management services for such clients as the Library of Congress international field offices, and all of the enterprise customers of EOS including several of the largest law firms and a wide variety of special libraries. She holds a Master of Science in Library Science degree from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
