Warrington Borough Council Libraries Choose SirsiDynix Unicorn System

CHESHIRE, England, August 14, 2007 - SirsiDynix, the global leader in strategic technology solutions for libraries, announced today that Warrington Borough Council library system in Cheshire, England, has selected the SirsiDynix Unicorn GL3.1 Library Management System. Along with Unicorn, additional integrated modules will be installed, including SirsiDynix Enterprise Portal Solution and SirsiDynix Director's Station.

SirsiDynix Enterprise Portal Solution will enable library users to access all the relevant, high-quality information, resources and services Warrington offers, including remote access to the library catalogue and local history collection, online electronic databases and virtual reference - through a single user-friendly application.

SirsiDynix Director's Station gives library managers a quick and easy-to-use system for both data analysis and in-depth circulation analysis to uncover trends and assist in future planning. The technical solution will also provide us with improved opportunities for cooperation and partnership working with colleagues in other authorities."
