Medialab's Italian distribution partner, Prime Source, has sold a new implementation of AquaBrowser to the Library of the Tuscany Regional Council in Florence, Italy.
The Library of the Tuscany Regional Council is the documentation center aimed at supporting offices of the Tuscany Regional Council. The library's primary purposes are to provide bibliographical, documentary and information services useful to the development of the activities of all the regional structure. It does so with particular reference to the matters of regional competence; to preserve and to make available for the consultation, publications and other materials produced by the Tuscan Region; to contribute to the information and knowledge right of all the citizens, allowing the access to the external user.
Since 2006 Prime Source has worked closely with Medialab Solutions, distributing AquaBrowser to libraries all over Italy. Medialab is excited to see yet another great library implementation on its way in Italy.
The Library of Tuscany Regional Council will go live with AquaBrowser shortly, adding visual and faceted search to rich and useful information specific to the region.
