INWOOD, WV, February 20, 2007 - Howard County Library (MD) will implement Online Selection and Acquisitions - an additional "best of breed" solution from TLC that will increase library efficiencies, and benefit customers.

Online Selection and Acquisitions is a Web-based, vendor-neutral material management tool that administers the entire acquisitions process, including selection, purchasing, receiving, invoice management, and fund accounting.

"At Howard County Library, we try to look at what we're doing from the customers' perspective," commented Brian Auger, Library Associate Director. Online Selection and Acquisitions will complement two other TLC vendor-neutral standalone solutions Howard County Library has already implemented: AuthorityWorks and AquaBrowser Library. Howard County Library is boosting cataloging efficiency and accuracy with AuthorityWorks, and offering customers a visual search environment with AquaBrowser Library.
