Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that Isik University in Sile, Turkey has selected the Millennium integrated library technology platform. The University is replacing a home-grown system.

The library's collection is growing and will reach 120,000 volumes over the next two years. "We chose Millennium because it is the ideal choice for serving an academic community and accessing the wealth of print and electronic resources that we have," says Library Director Ender Altug. "It's going to create the kind of user-friendly Web catalog that is important in our setting."

With this selection, Isik becomes the tenth Millennium library in the nation of Turkey, along with Bogazici University, Dokuz Eylül University, Ege University, Hacettepe University, Istanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul Teknik University, Koc University, Middle East Technical University, and Sabanci University.
