Blacksburg, VA and Paris, France - VTLS announced a new distributorship agreement with INEO media system (IMS) to represents VTLS in France. IMS is a subsidiary of Suez, a diversified company and one of France' six largest corporations. IMS specializes in multimedia products with special interest in libraries. A number of prestigious libraries use their solutions in France and around the world, one of which is Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The agreement will provide a nationwide introduction of Virtua and Vital. IMS will handle sales, training and support. The IMS library division is headed by Jean-Pierre Sakoun, a veteran of the library automation business, and includes a team of librarians, analysts and project managers.
