Three Turkish Universities select Millennium

Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that the Dokuz Eylül University, Hacettepe University, and Middle East Technical University (METU) have each selected Millennium as its integrated library technology platform.

Dokuz Eylül University draws together almost twenty academic institutes and offers a broad array of degree and vocational programs in multiple areas including law, architecture, business, medicine, and fine arts. The Library and Documentation Center at the University holds over 250,000 volumes and will replace an internally developed system with Millennium.

Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey was founded by the Turkish Government in 1967 and has about 30,000 students. Beytepe Library holds over 160,000 volumes and will replace a Bilkent University System (BLISS) with Millennium.

METU is the largest University in Turkey, hosting over 20,000 students. The METU library holds over 350,000 print volumes, 13,000 periodical subscriptions, as well as 53 research databases. Millennium will replace a library system provided by VTLS.
