Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today the completion of 150 installations of Electronic Resource Management at academic, public, and special libraries worldwide. The most recent group of installations includes Bowdoin College, Cal Poly Pomona University, Concordia University, Dartmouth College, Deakin University (Australia), and San Jose's Martin Luther King Jr. Library. Electronic Resource Management enables these libraries to manage e-journal holdings more easily than ever before. The Innovative ERM has over four times the amount of installations of its nearest competitor according to Computers in Libraries (November/December 2005).
Innovative owes its leadership status in Electronic Resource Management to its early development partnerships that began in 2002 with leading libraries such as Glasgow University; University of Arizona; University of Nevada, Reno; University of Washington; and Utah State University. By staying focused on the challenges facing today's libraries and a commitment to invest heavily in new development, Innovative often is able to produce timely solutions in advance of its competition.
"We're excited at how Electronic Resource Management has been embraced by the world's libraries," says Leslie Straus, Innovative Vice President of Worldwide Sales. "This is attributable to the hard work of our development partners and Innovative's continuing focus on what kinds of technologies currently are needed by libraries."
Now approaching its third full release, the Innovative ERM has been implemented both as an integrated module of the Millennium library management system and as a stand-alone application.
