DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, March 17, 2005: Endeavor Information Systems announced today Library and Learning Resources (LLR) of University of the Arts London, United Kingdom, selected an extensive suite of six Endeavor library software systems.
University of the Arts London consists of five of the world's most famous art and design colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Chelsea College of Art and Design, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing), and the London College of Fashion.
The University's 20,400 foundation, undergraduate, masters and doctoral students come from over 100 countries. Traditional students, distance learners and short course scholars are supported by more than 370,000 items in the LLR collections.
University of the Arts London's LLR is the second service to select Endeavor's new Meridian software for efficient, effective management of electronic resources. For library resource management, LLR chose the Voyager integrated library management system, the Voyager Interlibrary Loan system and the Voyager interface to selfcheck systems.
For digital library and linking integration, LLR opted for the ENCompass for Resource Access Premium package, the highest level of Endeavor's system for federated searching of electronic resources, and the LinkFinderPlus OpenURL-enabled link resolver for bridging the gap between citations and the online full-text of articles.
