October 4, 2004-Boston-Ex Libris announced today that Susan Stearns has joined its Information Services Division (ISD) as Director of Operations, effective September 1, 2004. Ms. Stearns is based in Boston and is responsible for all North America-based ISD implementation and support activities.

Ms. Stearns has worked in a number of key positions in library automation, e-publishing and content management, both in the US and the UK. Prior to joining Ex Libris her most recent position was as Vice President of Marketing, for Inmagic, Inc. Prior to joining Inmagic, Ms. Stearns worked in a variety of marketing, product management and customer support positions at Northern Light Technology, Gaylord Information Systems, Faxon Research Services and CLSI. During her tenure at CLSI, she spent three years in the United Kingdom and worked closely with libraries in the U.K. as well as other parts of Europe.
Ms. Stearns holds a bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College and an MLS from Simmons College.
