Ex Libris, Inc., today announced that Susan M. Pastore has accepted the position of Vice President, Sales, effective immediately. In her new position, Ms. Pastore will oversee Ex Libris sales executives responsible for North American sales of ALEPH 500, MetaLib, SFX, DigiTool, and Verde.

Ms. Pastore comes to Ex Libris from Kluwer Academic Publishers, where she was Director of Library Relations. While at Kluwer she managed the sales staff responsible for worldwide sales of Kluwer Online, eBooks, and electronic reference works. Her professional library experience includes working with libraries at all levels of the university and college spectrum, as well as with public libraries, and ranges from handling serial subscriptions to databases to integrated library systems. Prior to Kluwer she has held positions at netLibrary, Thomson Financial, UMI, Faxon, Endeavor Information Systems, and Geac.
Ms. Pastore earned her M.S.L.S. from Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science, and has a B.S. in Education from Southern Connecticut State College.
