Sirsi top choice for Free Library of Philadelphia

ORLANDO, Fla.—June 28, 2004— Sirsi Corporation, celebrating 25 years of delivering technology "firsts" to the library community, announced today that the Free Library of Philadelphia will invest in Sirsi solutions for improving the library's service and accessibility. "We are pleased to be upgrading to our new Sirsi system," said Elliot Shelkrot, the Free Library's director. "Scalable and flexible, the new system will help us better meet the information, recreation, and knowledge needs of our ever-changing and diverse community."

The Free Library's suite of Sirsi products and services include the Unicorn® Library Management System, WorkFlows® staff interface, iBistro e-Library, Sirsi SVA telephone notification system, SmartPort cataloging client, EDI (electronic data interchange), and 9XX Order Interface for Acquisitions.
