Ex Libris has announced that Syracuse University has joined the ranks of ARL libraries that have selected SFX. With Syracuse University's selection of SFX as its link-resolver Ex Libris now counts 58 ARL libraries among the fast-growing ranks of SFX customers. Since Northwestern University signed its contract for the combined MetaLib/SFX solution as Ex Libris' 50th ARL customer (November 2003) and Indiana University signed its contract for SFX (December 2003) as the 500th SFX customer worldwide, the numbers of ARL libraries with SFX has blossomed to 58 and the overall number of SFX libraries to over 550 sites in 31 countries.
Syracuse University will also be joining the growing ranks of institutions that have decided to take advantage of Ex Libris' expertise in offering the total SFX solution: SFXHosted! More than 30 libraries worldwide now avail themselves of Ex Libris' expertise in managing a hosted link-resolver solution on their behalf. Syracuse joins the Universities of Calgary and Manitoba as recent additions to the list of SFXHosted! institutions.
